My Los Angeles Metro & Orange County connection:
I live in the 818 area code--just a 20 minute drive to anywhere in Los Angeles. No wonder I'm always late.

My family:
I have a mensch of a husband, two wonderful (yet sometimes exasperating) children, and a cocker spaniel named Chula who we adopted off of Craigslist.

My fun fact:
I have a weakness for Trader Joe's Salt & Vinegar Potato Chips.

My life before baby:
B.C. (before children), I worked as a Catering Manager for Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, Doubletree Hotels and finally Marriott Hotels & Resorts.

My life in the BabyZone:
I volunteer at the elementary school and I'm also a Brownie Girl Scout Leader. Cookies, anyone?

My hobbies and passions:
I've been learning to knit, but aside from a few scarves and swatches (as my husband calls them), I haven't produced anything worth mentioning.

My best parenting tip: If you're a new mother, join a playgroup or a mothers' support group. It will help you keep your sanity. Really!
